"You're the first I've seen." he said, arching his neck as the annoying fly from a few minutes ago returned to torment him again. Banner flicked, whipping against his flanks and sending the fly away, only to return a moment later on his foreleg. He bit at the fly, and this time it seemed to have left for good, for it flew out of sight and hearing range. Eclipse snorted, stomping a hoof on the ground as though to make sure the annoyance stayed away, then turned his attention on Faith again. ((Your posts aren't bad. It's mine that are absolute crap... X-x Of course, it might have something to do with me posting at 1:00 in the morning half the time... She was prepared to amuse herself with staring around at the... well... nothing. Auds swivelled to him before her gaze did. So, he had not seen anyone either. Great. Tassle flicked against her as she tried to rid herself of the d**ned flies. She had no idea what to do, she had searched the valley, and found no-one. A bit, well, disappointing and saddening. "Well, I guess I don't know what to do" she said, airing her thoughts. Mind raced frantically to think of something more worthwhile to say, as her tassle flew to try and rid herself of the early morning pests. ((I wouldn't say that your posts are crap. I post at 1.00 am a lot because I go on my laptop and it's easy to get on it at night. But ssh! I didn't say that!)) X-x I have an idea for my character... See, he was born dark, but his personality isn't exactly dark. I was thinking of doing a character development thing... See, he and a filly from his herd were sort of 'put together' by his parents, and though Eclipse developed real feelings for her(though he didn't show it), she felt nothing for him(though she told him she did). Anyway, my idea is this: He meets her here, but she betrays him somehow, maybe by fighting him off in favor of another stallion, or she could send her 'boyfriend' to attack Eclipse, helping him from the sidelines. So... WHat do you think?)) I wouldn't be able to on the internet without it because we sent the main computer to PC World just after christmas and we still havent had a call to sen it back. I bet its done and they just havent said anything. The reason its in there is cos I overloaded it with The Sims games. Woops. Anyway, sounds good. He too had seen no soul in these lands, other than the two that stood before him. The flies were beginning to really annoy him. He whipped his tassel around himself to try to make them leave him alone, but they would not. He did however begin to listen as they spoke of the Valley, for he too had been born in these lands, yet had left a short time before the battle. He could remember the name Faith from somewhere, but could not remember where. He leaned his dial in closer to listen to them, and after a few moments, decided it was rude to spy. He stepped out slowly from his hiding spot, and walked up towards the lagoon. He made sure that his daggers made some noise, so that he did not scare them. "Hello.........you are the first I've seen here. Sorry to intrude like this, but I thought I was alone." He stood and watched their expressions, waiting for a comment. It was so peaceful and calm. Harks caught the sound of hoofbeats, and she thought it was just Eclipse moving about, but when she moved her gaze, she noted another stallion. Well, at least there were more horses. Smile of welcome appeared on her maw, in fact she was lad that there was someone else here. Even if it was another stallion. Faith was unsure how Eclipse would react, stallions acted funny sometimes. Maybe he would just ignore him. Faith pushed it out of her head. It didn't matter. "I'm Faith" she said as a short introduction. "Erm... you are the second I've seen. And you're not intruding, on my part anyway. You are...? Faith shrugged mentally, and lowered her elegant dial to the topography. Pearls snagged at the emerald blade and munched them slowly, looking around. He gazed around momentarily at the lagoon, he flicked his plume at another annoying fly, tossing his dial slightly. He decided not to wait for his response from Eclipse, and so answered Faith's question. I'm Midnight Storm, pleasure to meet you both. He kept his dial up, trying to avoid eye contact so as not to seem aggressive, and waited. He eyed the other stallion with vague uncertainty, although he made sure to hide this. He paused a moment, as was normal, but the other stallion spoke again before he could state his own name. Instead of speaking once the other stallion had introduced himself, Eclipse stayed silent. He would speak if one of the two directly addressed him, but otherwise, he would listen. ((Bah, crap-tastic post there... Nyeh.)) Well this is cheerful. Sighing softly, she shifted her feet, tassle still flicking against her hocks, but not so much now. Her mind was blank with ideas of what to say, maybe that was because she had not seen another equine in a long while. She didn't know. Make some conversation her minded niggled at her. But what about? The weather? Faith nearly laughed at this but though better of it as it may seem strange. "So, have you been to the valley before?" she inquired. Maybe he had, maybe he hadn't, how was she to know? ((Crappier post. No... muse... *dies* Oh, I'll make the mare sooner or later. As said before... He relaxed, allowing his head to sag for a moment. He looked around once more before answering her question. It had been so long since he had been here! Oh, I was born here. He paused for a moment, trying to piece the words together in his head. Come on Storm, rack the dusty brain! I was driven out by my father, and so I left. He felt like kicking himself for sounding so stupid, but instead he lowered his head and sniffed around the ground, trying to find something to eat. His auds pivoting, listening to the breeze. Sheesh! It's not like I haven't had any conversation since I came here! OOC: Wow! That was completely rubbish! I have no inspiration today!!! Faith shook her dial, somewhat out of boredom, silvery mane flying everywhere and landing messily on her boa. The mood couldn't be more uncomfortable if she wanted it to be. Not that she did of course. I was driven out by my father, and so I left. Don't I know what that feels like she muttered to no-one inparticular. Tassle flicked against her hocks from time to time, yet it was often the wind that put it there. How peaceful this place seemed to be, even through what had happened not so long ago. Okay, think. What can liven things up a bit? But her mind was blank, and she had to settle herself with straining her mind to think of something... anything... He wished to explore more of the valley, and standing here would not allow him to do that. He stepped away, hooves passing over roots and fallen branches with ease and relative silence. He didn't bid either of them goodbye, sicne he barely knew their names. He simply excused himself silently and moved away, stepping off into the mist.
